I'm no legal expert, but basically it means he's lost his status as a qualified lawyer.

Quite literally means, the only time he can be in Court now, is if he did something wrong ;D

In order to practice law (in the United States... I also know how France does it if anyone is interested XD woo college term papers) one has to be a member of their state's bar (basically an association of attorneys) which is done usually by taking a pretty epic exam. If they are disbarred they can no longer appear in court as an attorney or generally practice law in that state.

Yeah, basically means that he lost his license to practice law. Not really a big deal, he's been a small fry since the Hot Coffee and The Sims 2 stuff. Still good that justice was served though. Although he'll leave Florida and go practice law in California, you can count on it.

That'll be a while though since he'll have to take their Bar exam XD so lets enjoy the break

I find the lack of Satan praise in this topic to be disheartening; you give God too much credit.  I like to think that Jack Thompson was mentally tormented and that his outbursts and thinking ability were all the result of malevolent forces.

I'd like to think disbarred means the large iron rod was finally removed from his butt, but I doubt that...I doubt that greatly.
