Tokos, here's the intro-tized intro story.
Once long ago, there was a band of people. For crimes unknown, they were cast out from their tribe.
They were forced to live in the shadows and steal for sustenance.
When they were cast out, they were cursed. Every century, one male would be born.
However, at the time the curse was cast, there were many males within the exiles.
One by one, they started to die out for no apparent reason. One of them, a middle-aged one, noticed this.
His brothers were dying! He was outraged that the great goddesses would do this!
So he damned the goddesses and led the exiles back to the tribe that kicked them out.
He went to the elders of the tribe, sword drawn, ready to strike them down.
However, the elders kneeled down in prayer. The man hesitated for a second and was about to kill them...
All around him became gray as the goddesses sealed the land in a barrier of stone.
Then he turned to stone as well, frozen with arms raised, ready to strike the kneeling elders with his blade.
Frozen for all eternity. The land, the tribe, all became one with the stone in the ground.
All but one. A pregnant woman had been escaping and was in the midst of running.
She smelt sulfur and turned around to see her homeland turning to stone.
Horrified, she kept running as the ground turned to stone as well.
It was about to catch her when she crossed into the neighboring land of Hyrule. The petrification ended there.
That night, she found a vacant hut, and gave birth to a baby boy. And then she passed away.
In the morning, a passing couple heard the cries of a baby. They found the young boy with his dead mother.
The wife took the child and noticed a mark on his left hand, and the husband buried the mother.
They adopted the son as their own and named him Link.
That was ten years ago.
Also, updates on this page; Tokos should update the first post tomorrow. The game's title is The Petrified Realm (I thought of that; reakates to the story of the game I wrote). The full intro story should be posted tomorrow, and the land's name might be Petrane (thanks Ryan; I pronounce it Peh-traw-nay); Tokos said he liked that one. Also, before you say PM HIM THAT!, I already told him I'd post the intro-tized text here.
