There could be a very nice big discussion on where this is going to go...

Vivendi owns Blizzard, blizzard and Activision will be merged together to form 'Activision Blizzard'.

Very interesting

This is not good news. Now we'll have a WoW minigame where you skate in Azeroth with Tony Hawk. See? Not good.

Just like how Oracle of Seasons/Ages was a sidescrolling platformer with 8 robot bosses.

Oh wait.

That's because Capcom is awesome and wouldn't do that. And Nintendo didn't buy out Capcom, vice versa. Nintendo wouldn't risk the Zelda series like that.

looks like the blizz games will be raped.... just think how bad "Call of Duty" in compare with the first title is... Soon you'll see Diablo 3, Starcraft Ghost, Warcraft 4 and all other things you want... just in bad, commercial thought versions with bad program code and the worst game storys of blizz you've ever seen.

I think diablo III will be around the corner now.

Very strange merger. I'm not overly fond of the parent company, since they ate up and swallowed my all time favorite game company ever, Sierra.

SO! Who's ready to play Tony Hawk: Skate Silvermoon? No? Well get into WoW for the special Punk Skater Chainmail Armor and !@#$% Board, or the new Horde Skateboard Mount! If that doesn't excite you, then we've got JUST the thing for you! Call of Duty 5: Arthas' Wrath. Play a mighty Blood Elf Undead Hunter who joined the military after a failed skateboarding career! Level your Boarding Skills as you shoot your way across countless of the Burning Legion's masses!

There's such a double standard about religion in the modern world. Catholics can gather, wear white robes, and say "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti" and be considered normal.

But if my friends and I gather, wear black robes, and say  "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn", we're considered cultists.

I'm not so sure this is a bad thing; Activision has always been a decent developer, and so has Blizzard... To be honest, I think Activision will bring some much needed things to Blizzard, and vice versa :o

I think diablo III will be around the corner now.

Very strange merger. I'm not overly fond of the parent company, since they ate up and swallowed my all time favorite game company ever, Sierra.

Diablo III is only rumored. The original Blizzard North team that developed Diablo II moved onto another company. I do not remember what it is called at the moment, but they're working on a free MMO called Mythos. And the designer of Diablo/Diablo II has made some hints about Diablo III. Look up some articles about it. I'm sure we'll see it happen from these guys instead of what Blizzard has become now.
