Minish Cap Link Question

When you stand still, does anyone know approximately how long it takes for Link to start blinking? Also, when he blinks, does he wait each time a random amount between each blink, or a set amount?

Tell you what, I'll load up my MC game JUST to find out for you.  BRB :)

After 5.5seconds of idle, he blinks once, for .25seconds. After a further 2.5 seconds, he blinks again TWICE.

Hope that's accurate =). I had to search for my gba games XD

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure whether I'll follow this or just have him blink every few seconds or so.
