As you may or may not know, my fangame features Zelda, rather than Link. Now, I've been thinking for a while "since she's going to be swimming and battle monsters and such, maybe it'd make more sense for her to wear a tunic". So I tried it, but something bothers me about the tunic version, so C+C would be nice. Also, included the dress version. >_>

I always objected to the idea of using Zelda as a main character in a fan game until I saw this.  The tunic improves the sprite and the style a lot.  I kind of doubt that even a princess would go save the day in her dress.

I agree with Kren, the feet don't look right.

The arms seem sectioned off, if the bottom half is the hands then make the arm one pixel longer and the hand one pixel shorter. If it is a different section of the arm connect the sections. Also the arms kinda seem to appear to come from nowhere, thought maybe that is just me. And her pants seem a little too puffy for an adventerous tunic, give her some flexibility.

The poofiness probably comes from those side thingies (the blue things), which is kinda what I was going for.

Anyways, update:

Changed hairstyle too...:D?

Wow those pants are alot better. ;D Um, I see what you are trying to go for with the hair, but it kinda messes up the eye on the left. Like she has that eye half closed. I like the style, but I would make it more simetrical(not completely, but more). Also, the arms still look kind of sectioned but it is not noticable without looking very closely, noone will care during gameplay, and it may mess them up to fix it. But overall I'd say 9/10 8)

Meh, I like the dress version too :(.

Can't you like... make the first 15 minutes of gameplay with the dress, and the rest with the tunic or something :P?

...I don't know why, but it looks like something the Gerudos would wear ????

I like how it looks, just needs what .TakaM said. But I wonder how she'd look with a cape and that tunic? ;D
Does she get different tunics in the game too? ;)

I like how you took my suggestion and changed the "banger" or whatever it is you're supposed ot call it. But, my eyes still shrivel up and burn whenever I try to inspect this sprite closely. I think it has to do with what .TakaM was saying. Give her some outlines, it might just be the size of the sprite, but it's really hard to focus on it @_@.

Sorry for the critizism. You know I know the sprite rocks.

cb, for the first few minutes she'll be in the dress, but as soon as the adventure starts (well...a bit after it starts), she switches to the tunic. I actually fixed what TakaM said...but I'm not at home right now, so I cant show you. Also, I might add a cape, thats actually a good idea. But...red gloves? >_>
